Launch & Lift Off
Q1: What happens during the first 72 hours after my ads launch?
A: The first 72 hours are focused on collecting performance data. During this time, we’re testing different versions of your ad (images, headlines, or copy) to determine which variation performs best. You may not see a high volume of leads immediately—this phase is about learning and optimizing for long-term results.
Q2: Why are we running multiple versions of the ad?
A: This is called A/B or split testing. We use this strategy to compare different creative elements, messaging, or audience segments. It helps us identify what resonates most with your audience so we can allocate budget to the highest-performing version moving forward.
Q3: Should I expect leads right away?
A: Not necessarily. While it’s possible to get leads early on, the main goal of the first 72 hours is to allow the platform (e.g., Facebook or Google) to gather data and "learn" which ad is most effective. This learning phase sets the foundation for more consistent and cost-effective lead generation.
Q4: Will I get to see my ads running online?
A: It is common to see a few of the ads running on your social feed as you are the business owner and follow the business page, but the ads are looking for qualified clicks of people who are actually looking for tree service. META is learning this data to optimize for the best lead cost. If you'd like to see your ad creatives, reach out to your account manager requesting to view the lineup.
Q5: Will my ads be shareable?
A: At our agency, we don’t prioritize making ads shareable because Meta’s ad algorithm isn’t designed to target your friends or followers—it’s designed to find your next customer.
The goal of paid advertising on platforms like Facebook and Instagram is to leverage Meta’s data-driven targeting system. It uses user behavior, interests, and purchasing intent to place your ad in front of the people who are most likely to take action--not just the people who already know you.

Q6: When will I receive my first lead?
We typically see the first lead come in within 24 to 48 hours after your campaign goes live. However, please allow up to 5 business days during the initial split-testing phase. This time allows our team to gather performance data and make any necessary adjustments to optimize your ads for the best possible results.
Q7: What if I receive leads outside of my territory?
A: It's totally normal to get a few leads outside your target area, especially in the first week of running ads. Don’t worry—our team watches this closely and will adjust the targeting as needed. Since we don’t charge per lead, getting a few out-of-area leads from time to time is expected.
